Orbit started in 2019 when four engineers got tired of spending more time on infrastructure than on the products they loved.
Today we serve over 48,000 teams in 90 countries — from solo founders hacking at midnight to enterprise platform groups running mission-critical workloads. Our commitment hasn't changed: give builders great tools and get out of their way.

We ship deliberately. Every release passes review from engineering, design, and support before it reaches you.
We're bootstrapped and profitable. No chasing quarterly targets at the expense of the product.
“We migrated our entire platform in a weekend. Page loads dropped from 1.8s to 240ms and our conversion rate went up 23%. It genuinely changed how we ship.”

“The API design is a joy. We built three internal tools on top of it in a single sprint and haven't touched them since. That's the highest praise I can give.”

“Our designers and engineers finally work in the same tool. The collaboration features alone replaced two subscriptions we were paying for.”

I fly twice a month and these cancel engine noise better than my old QC45s. Battery lasted a full SF–Tokyo round trip with charge to spare.
I mix music on these and they hold up. The clamping force is gentle enough for a 6-hour session. Soundstage is wide for closed-backs.
Sound is reference quality. The companion app is a bit sluggish on Android and drops connection occasionally, but the headphones themselves are faultless.
